“I just had an amazing stay at the Guyana Marriott. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food was amazing. I loved the mix of traditional Guyanese breakfast with more traditional American fare. Loved the options. Also enjoyed the Guyanese night dinner buffet. I enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres and painting night activity. That was a lot of fun. They have a great pool and a gym. Overall just an amazing vacation in Guyana.”

“Positiva perchè le camere sono larghe spaziose e pulite anche se avrei messo il sapone anche vicino al lavandino (dovevo ogni volta entrare nella doccia per lavarmi le mani). L' aria condizionata funziona e c'è il balcone anche se non l' ho mai usato perchè è esposto al sole la mattina e c'è traffico nella strada adiacente. Ecco il rumore è un po' un problema se uno si aspetta una zona silenziosa ma a Georgetown di posti silenziosi ce ne sono pochi”

“Staff/service was very slow. There was no hot water running in our room. The entire stay went by and we were having cold showers. There is no kettle in the room, so you can not get boiling water for a tea or coffee after 10 pm. The coffee machine was not working in our room. The safe wasn’t working when we first arrived; shortly after, the engineer arrived and fixed it- so we were able to use the safe in the room during our stay. There was a broken piece in the shower stall. The toilet clogged...

“The property management team is polite and accommodating. Due to last minute changes in my trip, they were more than willing to accommodate my reservation alterations with no questions asked. I will DEFINITELY continue to use them as my primary hotel when traveling to Guyana for business.”

“With the exception of the loud music coming from multiple day visitors the property was well maintained over the years… last visited 20 years ago. The staff were friendly and very helpful, food and ambience was top shelf compared to the other resorts and hotels in Georgetown. Add this to your list when visiting Guyana. ”
