“Room was nice. Restaurant service and cleanliness let our stay down. The first night, the chairs were dirty with food crumbs and our food came before our drinks. Second night my husband did not receive his drink. On our last day, we had breakfast and the staff were not clearing tables, guests were having to ask for food to be replenished. Stayed a couple of years ago and had a lovely stay, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately it has gone really down hill. Will not be back”

“Low value for money, expensive for the size of the room and the quality of the food.”

“Had a great stay here, spacious bedroom overlooking the countryside in a quiet location. Enjoyed the food and great atmosphere in the pub.”

“Overall an excellent location, staff and facilities. The grounds and gardens are large and very well kept. Only minor items to address are that it took some time for breakfast orders to be taken so had to wait a long time and result in toast and tea getting cold. Pool area could do with a little more lighting as it felt very dull.”

“Breakfast was good for a buffet style hot food. Room was ok at best. Bathroom was not great with mildew all over the bath / shower and there being clear stains on the towels. Personally I’d not stay here again”
