“We really enjoyed our stay at the Owl’s Nest! We were looking for a remote hideaway with proximity to activities in the region, and this lovely place in the woods fit the bill for us. It is very private, has nice kitchen facilities and a washer/dryer, and is very clean and has lovely interior design. The private path in the woods was perfect for walking our dog, and the honor grocery store down the road provided farm fresh eggs for our breakfast. “The Huron is an absolutely lovely home with lots of character. Super child friendly with some nice toys & games. The kids were also excited to see the ships and boats on the Hudson. The house was spotless and has all the amenities of home. Nice and quiet in a beautiful neighborhood. The house “book” has some nice restaurant recommendations with the host’s suggestion of Pomodoro Pizza being our favorite. We would definitely stay again. ”

“Usually all I require of a hotel is a good bed and a hot shower. But this was a nice room in well-maintained condition (and with nice pillows), which made the experience very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful, especially as I had made two separate reservations which needed to be linked up. Location was very convenient to the highway. ”
