“A modern bland extension to a country house. Room was unremarkable. Bathroom was disappointingly shabby. Bar and restaurant were ok, but nowhere to sit at the bar, I could only sit at a dining table set for dinner when having a drink at the bar. It was not comfortable and gave the impression I was encroaching on dining space. Staff did not come and clear table either. Overall disappointing. Looked nice in the pictures but the experience did not match it. ”

“Hairs in the room and in the ned”

“Property was very pet friendly and staff were wonderful. There were however issues with the room which impacted our stay. The mattress was very hard and pillows soft and lumpy. Due to this our quality of sleep was very poor. The rooms did not come with a small fridge which would have been helpful as chilled food had to be taken to reception each time. There was no ironing board in the room and no telephone so each time you needed something you had to take a long walk to reception and back. Apart...
