“Perfect location. Lovely modern room on top floor in the new building. Half the property seems to be the original coaching inn and half a new build with the pool. No negative points but easy wins would be no shower gel in room, only shampoo/conditioner, robes and slippers to go down to the pool in would be a treat. ”

“It is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a superb spa. Rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable. Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste. ”

“Large home with rooms, needs updating. The pool looked nice but it was closed. No staff on the premises after 8pm. The house was quiet and we never encountered any other guests until breakfast. Breakfast was good and fresh. Not much going on in Trowbridge.”

“Fantastic stay and will return. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. My room was clean, quiet and very comfortable, and the leisure facilities (pool, sauna, steam room) great. The gym also looked good and well-equpped, although I didn't get a chance to use it. I'm looking forward to staying again.”

“I was impressed with the staff and their enthusiasm. The hotel is a very impressive building although there was some decorating going on in some rooms during my stay. The only blemish during my stay was the television that a previous resident in the room had changed the settings and so it was not possible to get standard channels.”
