Motel a Detroit

“The room looks fine but upon inspection you will see cracks and broken tile. The tub drips constantly. Prior customers clothes were left hanging on the bathroom door. The fireplace was a nice touch and it is not too noisy. For the price this is what you get. It was under $150 a night and we were there for a school graduation and all other hotels were charging $300+ a night. So this is as expected. The room was clean except for those issues mentioned. “The cleanliness of the room was ok, and the staff was very nice. Property looked well maintained. But the key got stuck almost every time I entered the room, there was a huge draft that came through the door, the bed was hard, the pillows were super thin. But for the price, I can forgive that. But there was no hot water in the shower and the heating cooling unit either had it freezing cold or boiling hot, no in between. Not going back. ”

The reception tells it all but we decided to have a look at the room. Disgusting! Broken furniture, blood-stained bedding with cigarette burns. “No breakfast staff didnt show up ”

“Older hotel but clean. Staff was friendly. They had a large fire earlier and I’m sure it hurts the attraction when driving by. It did not affect my stay at all.”
