“ Good breakfast and room”

“Staff was nice. Room was clean. Not sure why I was allergic to the pillows. Never had that happen before. Stuffed up all night and cleared up when I got up. Noisy neighbours in next room and noisy people talking outside casino until 1:30 AM. No I didn’t report it because it’s been my experience that only makes it worse. It’s disappointing to pay over $500 for two nights and get almost no sleep.”

“The outside looked a little rough, but the desk staff was wonderful, the room was super clean, things had clearly been updates/upgraded, and it was quiet and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I were traveling to the area.”

“A great property with an amazing history shared by Ivan and confirmed with some of our own research. A great jumping off point for our visit to Waterton and the Cardston Temple. Quiet and quaint.”

“Staff are lovely. Check in and out very efficient. Decent basic rooms. Whole place could use some basic maintenance and touch ups for example the bathroom fans wouldn't be so loud (and would save y'all money on your power bill) if you'd clean them! It served its purpose, place to sleep and shower while in town for a wedding. We found it quiet.”

“The owner was welcoming and very helpful, making check-in a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and very clean overall, with only a few stains on the carpet. The kitchenette was roomy and included a fantastic full-size fridge—much larger than what you'll find in many popular hotel chains—although it hadn't been turned on before arrival. “Our experience was not good. We arrived early in the evening after a day in Waterton Park. The bathtub drain was not draining well the water from the shower and my feet were always inside the soapy water. My wife found a spider inside the pillowcase and we found hair on the bed sheets. I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't come back or recommend it.”

“Room was clean but no coffee. Internet didn’t work. I didn’t appreciate the receptionist laughing at me when I was checking in because I didn’t have a credit card - I paid for the room in advance so was not told on Expedia that I needed a credit card. The receptionist laughed at me. I am on a pension and am disabled so don’t use a credit card to keep my finances from going out of control. Being laughed at was humiliating and ruined my weekend.”

“I highly recommend staying in one of these charming, self-contained suites instead of a dull, lifeless motel room. It feels like home, and you can really stretch out and relax. The decor is quirky and fun. The kitchen is well-appointed and ready for you to make simple meals while on your trip. I will always stay here when I have occasion to travel to Nanton. :) (One note, there are stairs leading down to these basement suites, they are not wheelchair friendly.)”

“We were 2 people in the room but only 1 chair. It looked as if there was a table and chairs in one corner at some point i time. I found the towels very soft and luxurious. I found the room to be clean and it was handy to have restaurants close by. I would have given this hotel a 5 star except that the breakfast was mediocre at best”

“Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit.”

“Our room was clean and staff at the front desk was as helpful as she could and friendly. However the room’s wifi never worked even after rebooting and thus the tv in the room never worked either. The router box was hanging off its post, there was no carafe nor coffee for the coffee maker. The hot water handle had fallen apart before we got there so we couldn’t use the shower. The light in the main continued to flicker even when off . The room really could do with a paint refresh. Every time...
