Your Family House in the Heart of The Langhe

Enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the typical Italian family country house!

Savour the vibrant character of this family house in historical Dogliani in the heart of The Langhe, the region well-known for its culinary and winery tradition.

A large living room with a chimney, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, four bedrooms with a unique character, and a wide outdoor space will offer you the true taste of the Italian countryside.

A large and enclosed green area provides your kids a safe outdoor space for playing, running, and going on the swing, while offering you and your friends a full relax in the sunshade and …. impressive barbecues!

With 10 to 12 beds, this is the ideal house for two families with kids, for a group of friends, or for small yoga or meditation groups.

Wifi is available in all rooms.

Detailed description of the house

Ground floor:

• Living room: bookshelves, boardgames, TV, an extendable table with chairs, sofas, armchairs, chimney, and … a karaoke kit with two microphones and loudspeakers!
• Kitchen: fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, cupboard, coffee machine, kettle, brita, oven, gas cooker
• Dining room: a large and extendable table with chairs, a cupboard, a microwave
• Bathroom: sink, toilet and shower

First floor:

On the right:
• the Matisse bedroom (sleeps 2): a double bed, two nigh tables, a mirror, a chair, an armchair, a set of drawers, a wardrobe
• the kids’ room (sleeps 3 to 5): a single bed, a bunkbed, two pull-out beds, three-night tables, a desk with a chair, a trunk
• a large bathroom: a sink, a bidet, a wide corner bath.

On the left:
• the Indian room (sleeps 2): a double bed, a wardrobe, a chair, a trunk, a screen
• the family room (sleeps 3+baby): a large room with a double bed, two-night tables, a wardrobe, a trunk, a vanity, a mirror, a single bed. Please note that you can add a baby bed (not provided).

Outdoor

The house is fully surrounded by a large green and enclosed area, as here detailed:

• front: a metal table with chairs provides a large area to enjoy outdoor meals, relax in the sunshade, read a good book while the kids go on the swing
• side: a covered patio, a place to go when the sun is too hot, or for the evenings (the patio is furnished with outdoor lights); it also features a large table and two long wooden benches; in the closet, you can find the washing machine, the deck chairs and the wide sun umbrella
• back: a full green area for relax, meditation, outdoor games, barbecues, etc.
• an enclosed and reserved parking area.

And when you have had enough of relaxing in the sunshade, visit the most iconic spots of The Langhe: Dogliani, with its historical traditions and its vibrant market (on Tuesdays); Barolo, famous for its red wine; La Morra with its breath-taking panorama; Bra, the cradle of the SlowFood Movement; Alba, with its towers and Ferrero, the world-famous brand for the Nutella cream!


A couple of notices:
• minimum stay: 1 week from Saturday to Saturday
• please note that smoking is strictly forbidden in all rooms of the house
• please note that there are two steep stairs inside the house, so look after small kids
• for the same reason, the first floor (bedrooms) is not suitable for individuals with restricted mobility
• we kindly ask you to remove your shoes before heading to the first floor
• we are really sorry, but we cannot accept pets since some guests might be allergic.
