Hotel a Douglas

“Work still in progress changing it from whatever it was to a Hawthorne. Thermostat hanging sideways on wall, some caulking in room and main hallway needs to be touched up, no stopper in bathroom sink. OK for one night's sleep. Breakfast selection limited. Needs a good inspection review before calling it complete.”

“Landon at the front desk was great. Very respectful and sweat. Gave me some ideas as to where to go local. Which was very helpful. I had some very noisy people staying in the room next me who argued loudly until after midnight. I told them to sit up 3 x’s. The third time they stopped. And then they decided to start back up at around 430am. This interrupted my sleep and made me very angry that morning.. I told them once again to shut up. “The room was very clean, the towels were very clean with no stains, the staff were very helpful and friendly and must I say the breakfast was excellent, I will definitely stay again!”

“My couch arm was broken and they knew about it and when I asked for it to be fixed they just converted it to a bed without fixing the arm or replacing the couch and this was in room number 7”

“AC was very noisy, the sheets had holes, besides the breakfast was included, they requested me to pay $3 per breakfast, finally, they requested a deposit of $100 (it was reimbursed), I didn't know I had to pay a deposit”

I took pictures because I didn’t want to get blamed and charged for damages . When I checked out the new manager on duty did not have the previous report I discussed”

“The hotel was in a good location and reasonable price. Property outside was maintained well. But the room had a musty smell toilet paper dispenser fell out of the wall an outlet didn't work. Was there four nights and didn't see a maid or fresh towels until the last night. Vending machines in lobby were empty.”

“We stayed at this hotel after leaving the OYO hotel across town without staying the night there. This hotel was nice and in a good location. It was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would change are the pillows. They were not comfy.”

“The staff were phenomenal and extremely friendly. The only downside was how thin the walls were. You could hear people walking above you and in hallway. At one point we could hear a man coughing who was in a room across the hallway from us.”
