“The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. The curtains on the window were a solid panel so you couldn't really open them. I slid them aside. Fun fact: the metal box the mattress sits on makes a cool...

“Pros: Staff was kind, room was clean and comfortable. Solid breakfast and coffee in lobby. Cons: Our door was hung skew so while it closed and locked, the wider opening at the bottom made it so we heard every peep in the hallway. And I’m not sure what catastrophe they had to clean up in the bathroom prior to our stay, but the floor was stained with large splashes of what I can only hope was bleach or cleaning fluid.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Eileen of Mystic. The place is absolutely beautiful, with tasteful paintings and decor. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and inviting. Josh and Erin were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was truly unique and delicious, a highlight of our stay. Overall, the experience felt just like being at home. “We stayed in the Nantucket, and it was everything we hoped for and more. A cozy, spotless, stylish little cottage all to ourselves, sitting steps away from the water. We spent mornings and evenings on the porch watching the boats and wildlife in a serene and quiet setting, but restaurants and shopping downtown were just a minute away by car. There was music playing and complimentary wine waiting for us when we opened the door-such a welcoming touch after traveling all day. We just can't say...

The hotel itself is a little bit dated, but our room was very clean and the shared spaces like the hallways and continental breakfast area all were clean. The doors into the property were open, no keycard required. Good location. We would stay here again”

“PVI’s main attraction is its proximity to the ocean right at its doorstep. Beautiful views and plenty of beach to walk makes it an ideal stay destination in RI. The amenities are fairly limited prior to late May, as the heated pool isn’t available and the restaurant/bar is closed some days. Still, the beach area and nearby Westerly, Stonington, and Mystic have plenty of charm to make late April and early May worth the stay.”
