“I enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly, even offered us a bottle of water knowing it was a hot day. The beds were so comfortable and the room was clean. Everything is local within minutes. It's a quiet area, I enjoyed my morning with coffee on the porch and the birds singing. I would definitely stay again and recommend..”

“The room was clean and nice. Nothing super opulent, but nice. The best part about the Whalers Inn is its proximity to town. We walked to dinner every night from the hotel and the seaport and aquarium were a very short drive away. ”

“It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”

“Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely return and recommend to others. Only question is parking. We never had a problem, but there isn't a lot of obvious parking so we were a little nervous we might need to park far from our room - but that never happened.”

“We only stayed 1 night but our stay was excellent. The hotel was spotless. Our room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Best night sleep we had on vacation. ”

“I liked the property very much. Two things that I did not like were the half of the chairs in the dining area were peeling and they looked very bad. The other thing is the elevator thresholds were not clean. My room was very clean and so was other areas in the hotel.”
