“Absolutely stunning view in the dead of winter!”

“The parking was good, we stayed during a snowy time but the driveway was clear, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The cleanliness was not quite what I had hoped for, but my standards are high bc I clean for a living. Nothing I couldn’t remedy however truthfully you shouldn’t have to clean your own room to feel comfortable. More attention should be paid to detail. Example the walls and corners in the bathroom and around taps. The kitchenette was great but again...

“Staff were friendly. Room decor on 3rd floor was very interesting, whoever the interior decorator was, needs to find a new career. Bed was comfortable, had a great sleep. Hairs in bathtub. Didnt use it. Nice that breakfast is included but the scrambled eggs were wet, cold, and did not taste like eggs. No bacon, only sausage. Very poor breakfast selections. Did not use the pool or gym but they looked ok, not big. Good place to stay for 1 night, just passing through.”

“Great location, beautiful architecture but there was no dining options, the desk staff wear many hats so often there was a “be right back” sign out and some of them did not appear to enjoy working their shift. Strong chlorine smell in the lobby, no dining options, the shower curtain fell down when I hung a wet towel on it (I’m old so I knew how to fix it), housekeeping every third day but if you appreciate character hotels those issues are worth the experience.”

“When we first checked in and got to our room, there were dust webs all around the ceiling. So I went to the front desk complained. The owner did come out and cleaned it right. We went out for a few hours and later that night, I found an empty liquor bottle on the nightstand shelf. I went and complained and asked for another room because we felt like the room was unclean. He told me no they didn’t have any more availability. Which the motel seemed like it wasn’t full because there was not a lot...
