“A really nice lady runs this property. It's just a few mins from the coast road and includes parking. There are bars and shops within walking distance snd easy to get to by road as we did. It's clean and comfortable..we had the corner room upstairs and you can see the sea from the balcony.”

“Room was refurbished on the inside but the fit and finish was sub par - to the point where security was a concern for me. Most concerning was the flimsy thin ply patched over the main entrance door. The door between the lounge and bedroom wouldn’t shut due to bad fit / installation. Big gaps between the external sliding door and wall create drafts for wind and extra outside noise”

“Good place for a brief stay in Auckland. We travelled for an event and needed somewhere with parking at a reasonable price. This place, while fairly basic, ticked off everything we needed.”

“This motor lodge doesn’t have soundproofing between the rooms and the corridor. Because it’s an airport motel, people arrive and talk loudly in the corridor until the wee small hours of the morning, then the noise starts again at 4am with people leaving to check in at the airport. That said, we couldn’t hear any road noise. I had maybe an hour’s sleep. My daughter slept okay so I guess it comes down to whether you are a light sleeper or not. On the plus side, it’s handy having a free airport...
