“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. “We stayed in the apartment which was really spacious, it is a fabulous house with well thought out decor. Cleanliness was second to none, so if that's what concerns you when travelling, then Eagle house is for you its spotless. Andy and Helen are great hosts and very welcoming. The town is just a short walk with some lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from. Overall a fabulous stay.”

“Loved everything about The Moat House; the house and grounds were lovely, the room had everything we needed, the food, the breakfast, bar snack and evening meal where perfect and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant.What we loved the most was all the little places you could find to just sit outside, beside the water and also that for breakfast and evening meal you were looking out onto water again. “The property needs a serious overhaul looking very dated in decoration. Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall. Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use. Minamul tea facilities in room. Veru poor standard of accommodation but it was quite cheap hotel . Think i will book a different hotel next time”
