“I stayed in room 102. I’ve never seen a rug so dirty in my life the bedding was clean, but the whole place needs a work over the shower system the toilet system. The flooring needs totally redone. It’s a dive and if that rug could talk. It’s got 40 years of talking. It’s time to change the flooring.”

“This hotel is well situated in the heart of Old Strathcona. You are within walking distance of many eclectic little shops, restaurants and a plethora of pubs. The location makes it a very worthwhile consideration as a place to stay when visiting Edmonton. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and much appreciated. The room was a little tired-furniture in need of repair and/or updating as well as baseboards and fixtures that were stained or in need of paint. Definitely in need of a spruce up....

“Stayed 2 nights on the weekend with my wife. Location is central to lots of things but n Edmonton. While clean the property is showing its age. Staf were friendly (did not realty have much interaction with them) and efficient. Beds could have been more comfortable as they were super firm. All in all I have stayed there several times before and would stay again.”

“We had to leave the property within 1.5 hours of checking in due to its poor condition. The room was extremely dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and the washroom was not properly cleaned. Our experience was very disappointing, and we would not recommend booking this place.
Despite leaving shortly after arrival because the accommodations were unacceptable, the hotel staff refused to provide a refund.”

“My stay here was unexpectedly disappointing. The first room I was assigned smelled so poorly of weed as someone on my floor was obviously smoking it in their room. The new room I was assigned smelled horribly like carpet cleaner. There were a lot of people loitering out from of the hotel and in the lobby at varying times. “I wouldn’t recommend this hotel our room wasn’t clean, the bathroom had hair on the floor around the tub prior to any of us using it, there was old food stuck to the picture in the living area above the desk, the bedding had stains on it.
