“We had a wonderful stay in the Villa La Calma, very close to Sitges. Very comfortable house, with a beautiful pool and garden, comfortable kitchen, great facilities and a chill out corner right out of the house. Great spaces, very comfortable for the parking, everything was fine. The beds might be slightly improved, but the were good enough for just one week. Location is fab as long as you have cars to get about: Sitges was our favourite town in the area (for cafes, shops, museums and general atmosphere) and Barcelona is easy to get to, too. “We had mixed feelings about our stay. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with, which was appreciated. However, there were several issues that detracted from the experience. We were unable to use the pool until the fourth day due to a salt water imbalance from heavy rains, but the thick mildew on the pool’s sides suggested a lack of maintenance. “We had rented this property for eleven family members to experience Spain. It was ideal for that many people. The villa, grounds and pool were a perfect to relax. The kitchen had all of the appliances we need. The bathrooms were big and the separate downstairs family apartment kept us all together but separate when needed. The AC units worked great. The hosts were available nearby when we needed them for answers to questions. The villa is not close to Sitges. It is in the surrounding hillside....
