“The yurt was very comfortable and warm. The wood burner provides an ample heat and there was a good supply of wood. The bed was comfortable. Parking is simple and close by. The yurt is very much off grid. The cooker works well with bottled gas. There is no running water. To take a shower involves boiling a giant kettle and carrying the water to the wooden outbuilding and mixing with cold rain water then using a solar powered shower pump. Was impressed that you can shower with surprisingly little...

“It is a lovely and quiet place. The cottage has good equipment. Only one problem: wify does not really work. Bantham beach is a great spot to enjoy nature. I really enjoyed my stay!”

“Very hard to find. Better directions needed and signage. Sofa was uncomfortable. Sofa seating deflated. Carpet and flooring dirty. Needed mat at back door. Shower doesn’t drain well. Lack of storage for toiletries. Had to put on bathroom floor. Fridge door shelf broken. Rear Patio furniture unusable as was dirty. Ok for a couple for a couple of nights. Wardrobe storage good. Nice view. ”

"A place to be when you have kids and do not fancy to splash into the cold waters of the Riviera: the swimming pools at TLH are cool! And the one indoor is warm too. Conveniently located near the seafront, and lical gardens and Torre Abbey. Easy distance to churches, shops and restaurants. Food is ok but reasonably priced. Kids go free and we say Thank You. I appreciate the rooms NOT being serviced every day because guests must be responsible of keeping their space tidy anyway. The only 🚫🚫 is the lack of bins to differentiate trash: it's 2025 and a sustainable clean behavior must not go on holiday but be encouraged by adding due bins. "
