“We stayed as we were going to portsmouth dockside. I did originally think it was closer to more things but thats my own fault for not checking. Easy to access though from the roads so just nipped in the car the next day. We stayed 1 night, had a drink in the bar. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Very clean and staff friendly.”

“One of the best holiday Inns I have stayed at. The free breakfast was a real plus as was the free parking for 24hrs followed by parking for £2 a day. For Portsmouth you can’t beat this hotel. Would highly recommend! ”

“This was a brief stay but the hotel was excellent. Staff were super helpful. Room was very clean and had everything we might need including iron. Very comfortable. Breakfast was included and very tasty with lots of options. Didn’t like coffee but seems to be same in many hotels using the type of machine they have. Great location and easy parking. “If you are interested in the Victory or the Mary Rose it is right across the street. Super great. Parking down the street was easy but prefer not to have to do it. But if you have to remote park, it wasn't a big deal. It was pretty easy.”

“I stayed in the Keppells Head. Staff very friendly and willing to go out of their way. I had a room at the back of the hotel and no view. Also quite noisy, but to be expected being opposite the train station and near a busy pub. Lovely breakfast. A good stay overall and to be recommended. ”

“Disgraceful ,they knew they had multiple guests stranded with nowhere to sleep and didnt care .The property was cluttered ,we had to push a mattress out the way to use the toilet(no hand-wash)aka cupboard.The kitchen is not the one in pictures 1/3 of size ,dirt,mould in corners of fridge ,what appears to be mouse droppings in cupboards,plenty of pics as proof .key safe to enter property just popped open so anyone could walk in in night. AVOID AVOID AVOID oh and free breakfast is a lie and garden...

Access to the property was through an unlocked front door and a room door with a combination lock which was loose and did not work.
Rang the property mobile number and they said turn itleft and right then the code works.
Almost immediately they sent a text demanding another payment of £45 for cleaning services which would be on top of £74 paid up front to Hotels.com. The room had a queen size bed with damp smelly linen and appeared...
