“The room seemed and smelled clean, no carpet on the floors, laminate flooring instead and the walls look like they were newly painted. Crawled into bed to find a bug crawling across the sheets, looked closer and found another dead bug. Pulled everything off the bed and the sheets had little brown spots on them. Pulled apart the other bed and it seemed fine. Slept with all our clothes on. Don’t know if it was bed bugs since we did not get bit at all that night. ”

“Just a beautiful walk from downtown! Older hotel, but don't let that discourage you. Because our room was nicely redone. Parking was great. Staff was great. We will definitely stay there again!”

“Breakfast was basically nothing and the pool was completely cloudy. Now, when I went to checkout on Sunday the person behind the desk question me about how many people I had in my room ???? She told me the owner wanted to know and she is bat crazy. I told her 3 and asked why? She stated that they had seen people coming in and out of my room. I felt totally spied on for some reason as if they were watching me whole weekend. With my middle finger raised high, I explained My older daughter also...

“I understand this isn’t a five‑star hotel, but there are basic issues that could be fixed with minimal cost. For example: reattaching the baseboard, spraying for ants (I’ve already killed about five - some were in the bed), fixing the broken bathroom door handle, replacing the stained toilet seat, and addressing the musty, smoky odor. You can also hear every step from the guest above you — at least in our room. When I first contacted the manager at Best Western Louisville, he offered a refund....

“Breakfast wasn’t the best. Needs more options. The bedroom looked really clean and good, it’s just they have a small problem with lady bugs, other than that, really good experience. The kids have a lot to do too! Very kid friendly!! 10/10. ”

“Rooms were clean. Staff friendly. Only complaint that the hotel can’t fix is there was a lot of road noise from the traffic. And the room beside us decided to blare their TV at 2:30 am but did turn it off after I banged on the wall a couple of times! 🙄 It’s a quick 3/4 minute drive into Bardstown so nice and close! ”
