“Using Expedia caused me to be given a small room with no counter space in bathroom. I felt disrespected.”

“Filthy floors throughout, a/c didn't work in 1st room. TV was almost impossible to turn on. Parking lot was completely crumbled. Phone number we were supposed to call went straight to voice mail which was not set up yet. Will never go back. Avoid at all costs.”

“Parking in front of room was plentiful. The room was dated, but clean. Had all the necessities needed for a quick stay. Conveniently located across from Highmark Stadium. Overall experience was good. Would recommend if looking for a short stay.”

“Shame on Clarion Hotels for neglecting this waterfront property and letting it become a sad, shabby, not inexpensive, hotel. The room phone was broken, the room safe didn’t work, room keys didn’t work, the room was poorly lit, and the bathroom was yuck. The staff was friendly, though our room across from the housekeeping area was loud with staff arguing or having conversation. The restaurant was fine. The only thing edible at the free breakfast offered by the hotel, was a tiny yogurt.”

“Clean room, Nice bathroom and shower. However, the breakfast had much to be desired. The choices of food were very limited. The only hot food option was a Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwich with some of the worst sausage I've ever eaten. Not a good start to our day.”

“Our window curtain was torn and could not be closed. I informed room service and the front desk and all they said was we're sorry to hear that and did nothing. People from the Holiday Inn could see through our room. The room smelled funny. We had rented the suite. We arrived early after a long drive six hour drive from New Jersey and they charged us an extra $30. With the condition of the room, they should have just waived it. Avoid this place.”

“The rooms were nice with tall ceilings. However, the tall ceilings meant it was built with little insulation between floors. Yes, that means every step your upstairs neighbor took pounded through to your room below. I would suggest a top floor room, if that is an option. It's also concerning that the price of the room was 50% higher than a room outside of Philly or Boston for similar hotel (in one case both hampton's). This shouldn't be the case for Buffalo, but it fit our driving schedule...
