Ideale per esplorare la penisola del Cotentin: Coutances, Chateau de Gratot, Abbazia di Lessay, Cap de Carteret, dune costiere, Nez de Jobourg, Cap de la Hague, Barfleur e faro di Gatteville, Saint-Vaast e il forte Vauban, Sainte Mère Eglise. “Étonné de la note globale sur le site. J’avais pourtant demandé une chambre supérieure, mais on m’a attribué une chambre en rez-de-chaussée qui ressemblait à une catégorie économique oubliée des années 70 : odeur d’humidité persistante, salle de bain minuscule et dans son jus, serviettes d’entrée de gamme. Pas d’acceuil. Pour un établissement noté au-dessus de 9/10, je m’attendais à tout autre chose. Il y a manifestement un décalage entre la réputation en ligne et la réalité sur place.”

“Abbiamo letteralmente dormito in una camera ricavata nello scantinato dell’albergo! Lo scantinato era buio, freddo ed umido, senza riscaldamento o de-umidificatore, con un’unica piccola finestrella che dava direttamente sulla strada. Naturalmente quando abbiamo chiesto un’alternativa allo scantinato ci è stata negata. Oltretutto lo scantinato era adiacente all’ingresso ed estremamente rumoroso: la portineria, gli ospiti in arrivo ed i distributori automatici non ci hanno dato tregua. Dalle 5...

“Struttura con del potenziale ma decisamente non curata, l’odore che si respira è veramente fastidioso; colazione a 17 euro assolutamente non accettabile; nei dintorni non c’è assolutamente nulla soprattutto se arrivate la sera a ripartire la mattina.”

“Don't be put off by the 2☆ rating. This wee hotel is good. The staff are friendly, maid service prompt and efficient and location is excellent. Pretty much central in town and lot's of cafes and restaurant's on the doorstep. The rooms are clean and spacious, however a little outdated. I have stayed in 4☆'s that were worse though..The bed is comfortable. Negatives are over the weekend it gets noisy from midnight until around 3/4am due to proximity of late opening bars. Not a big issue though.....
