Quintanilla Apartment

This beautiful building, designed by the renowned architect Rodolfo Ucha, retains some of the characteristic features of the early 20th century. The renovated and very bright apartment consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. Located in the historic La Magdalena neighborhood, just a stone’s throw from all of Ferrol’s points of interest, and 10–15 minutes from the beaches, shopping district, and numerous dining options: a very comfortable and charming place to stay in the heart of the city!

This apartment is rented out in its entirety and will be fully available to our guests.

This accommodations are heated by electric radiators, which are operational from November through April. In light of the climate and social emergency, we are committed to responsible use and aim to be part of the solution, not the problem. Therefore, given our city’s oceanic climate—where temperatures in the coldest winter months range from 6° to 15° C— heating will be available during two time slots: one in the morning and one in the afternoon, always maintaining a comfortable temperature between 18° and 20° C. The maximum heating time is limited to between 4 and 6 hours per day, depending on the weather. Guests may choose the operating schedule based on their living habits. It’s important to understand that heating a property like ours is not the same as heating a smaller space, such as a hotel room.

We do not have a 24-hour front desk, so a couple of days before your arrival, you must provide the host with an approximate arrival time (always between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.). You must also be punctual when checking out of the apartment (by 11:00 a.m. at the latest), as the cleaning service arrives at that time to ensure the apartment is left spotless for the next guests. There is a “late check-in” service available from 9:00 PM until 11:00 PM at the latest, for an additional 20, which will be charged when the keys are handed over

The Magdalena neighborhood is easy to explore on foot; some of its main streets are pedestrian-only, while others allow vehicle traffic. In addition, there are many free public parking areas.

The renovated apartment is located on the third floor. It consists of a kitchen, an open-concept living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, and two bathrooms (with a shower and a bathtub). The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic-glass cooktop, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a washing machine. It also comes with all the necessary kitchenware for a comfortable vacation stay. It includes a dining table and chairs. The living room is spacious and bright—a pleasant area to relax and unwind. It features a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. The living room retains its original balconies and galleries from the early 20th century. It has one bedroom with a double bed and another with two single beds—both cozy and quiet. One bathroom has a shower, and the other has a bathtub. They are spacious and very comfortable, ideal for this type of stay. The apartment has everything you need for a few days of relaxation and unwinding: bedding and towels, kitchenware, appliances, Wi-Fi, and heating available from November through April.

The owner won’t be on-site, but a professional host will be available to assist guests with whatever they need—whether it’s an emergency (a breakdown, damage, etc.) or to provide tourist information and local recommendations ;)
