Hotel a Flat Rock

“Like this hotel very much!Recommend it!”

“The room was musty smelling and everything felt damp. The carpeting was so filthy it was almost sticky feeling on your bare feet. Bathroom was clean but did not fill the toilet paper up. Left nearly empty rolls and no extras. It advertises a pool but there is no pool. The ice from the ice machine tasted terrible. Most of the front desk staff we encounter did not hardly speak or understand English. I do not recommend this place and we will not be staying there again. I would sleep in my car...

“Room was clean, but a lot of the furniture had some significant damage. A/C was nice and cold! Pool and outside area was great to have. Breakfast…you’ll likely still be hungry.”

“The hotel didn't appear overly dirty but it had many perfumy smells throughout the hotel as if trying to hide something. Smells were overwhelming at times. The air conditioning unit in our room had a horrible smell to it when used that was bad enough that we slept without even though temps were close to 90 degrees. The breakfast was close to inedible. Wouldn't recommend.”

“The rooms were clean, the breakfast fine, the staff great. But the elevator was a little scary. You push the button and it may not move or you arrive at the wrong floor. I am claustraphobic and this bothered me. It had been inspected in April.”

“Older property not well maintained. Needs detailing in bathroom due to leak from show and poor repair job. Air conditioning cold. Breakfast offering sparse. Eggs and milk only protein. One juice apple. Had to ask for tea bags. Not everybody drinks coffee. Help states management cut offerings for breakfast to save money. Difficult to find properly when interstate exit is closed.”

“Terrible. I paid over $175/ night for 2 nights to stay here. Absolutely a waste & overpaid. The secondary outside entrance door on the east side of the building did not lock or fully close- not safe. Lots of cigarettes butts & trash at door. Saw at least 2 cars in the parking lots each with a man just sitting in the car for hours, don’t know if they were sleeping in their cars or why just sitting there. Room was not very clean. On 2nd morning found a cockroach climbing on the bathroom wall,...
