A touch of rustic luxury

An ideal secluded place to base a visit to the Barossa region and explore. All the modern facilities you may need, with the feeling you could be in the middle of nowhere. A perfect getaway.

Beautiful escape

We spent a couple of nights at Boongarrie. It was an amazing escape. Some lovely touches from the hosts - wine, food for breakfast, good communication. It got a bit chilly, so much so that the pipes froze up, but they came and got the water running again immediately. We had a great stay!

Perfect getaway

This was one of our favourite trips away. We sat for hours relaxing in the sounds of nature on the deck, watching the blue wrens buzz by and giving the friendly horses a good scratch. It was so peaceful and had all we needed. Great location, secluded and romantic. We will be back!

Tranquility at its best

Absolutely loved our stay, the little touches in the tent nothing was forgotten. We just relaxed, went for walks, hubby loves mountain bike riding and said the trails close by were the best. And loved laying in the gorgeous bath, weve travelled a lot and absolutely this is my fave bathroom . Also enjoyed the gorgeous fresh baked bread, eggs, tomatoes and bacon left for us & of course the lovely bottle of red 🍷thank you Kate & Gary we will be back.

Exceeded our expectations!

Loved our stay at Boongarrie. The tent was incredibly well equipped, comfirtable and the fridge stocked with some surprise goodies and a fresh loaf of home baked bread! The location is a little further from 'everything' than anticipated but not enough to of too much concern. Thank you Kate and Garry, we would definitely stay again if we are in the Barossa!

Perfect secluded getaway

Thanks so much Kate, this was the perfect weekend, the weather certainly helped, but the location is great- very private and secluded but also close enough to easily head out for some wine tasting or to Eden Valley or Angaston for a meal The tent is really well set up, provisions are generous, there is wildlife everywhere and the fire pit was great Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park is just down the road, and we walked down the road to taste wine at Poonawatta, highly recommended Would definitely recommend this to anyone, it is much better than staying in a hotel if you want a peaceful getaway Thanks Anthony & Renee

Highly recommended

My partner and I stayed here in August for 3 nights - windy, wet and cold outside but the inside of the tent was warm and cozy ! The space was well decorated and sparkling clean with more than enough food and drinks stocked up for our stay. Kate and Gary were amazing hosts and did not mind help us getting a fire started when we could not work it out! I would highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway for couples.

Absolute tranquility and perfection!!

I could not have pictured a better place to unwind. From the picturesque property down to the fresh eggs and bacon ready for breakfast, this place is amazing. The owner Kate was so easy to deal with and not to mention her beautiful dog made our day. Will be back again!

Fantastic tent, beautiful area, great host

The Boongarrie Luxury Tent is a fantastic place to stay and Kate was a wonderful host who provided delicious, fresh produce for breakfast and was a great help in planning our trip. We were very warm inside the tent, which was extremely well equipped and had all the comforts of home. We will be recommending it to our friends and look forward to returning soon!

Glamping at its best, owners thought of everything! Incredibly comfortable and private stay.

We stayed over winter. The tent was well heated and we were provided with equipment for a camp fire. Close to wineries and lots of great places to eat. We have recommended this place to our family and friends!

Amazing!

The tent was an AMAZING experience! Fitted out with absolutely everything you could think of and more, from a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, fire pit, heater/aircon, gorgeous ensuite with the most perfect bath! The views from the tent are stunning and the location is perfect the Barossa has so much to offer for absolutely anyone. Cannot reccomend the luxury tent highly enough, definitely will not be disappointed!
