“Basic hotel but absolutely fine. Good value for money and great location. Be aware the Room 1 is over the kitchen and their air conditioner produces loud buzzing noise in the room until late. Staff sympathetic but unable to help. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Old Pheasant Hotel very much. There are great staff, the room and bed were very comfortable, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We stayed for dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent.”

“Breakfast was excellent value and good portions, off road parking but fills with customers to the club especially on an evening. No food or drink allowed in rooms which was disappointing as you have to go down to a very busy bar to get refreshments and isn’t ideal if your chilled in your room after a long day out and you just want to relax watching TV with a nice cup of coffee, but that isn’t possible as no kettle is provided in your room. Apart from that our stay was excellent, really nice...

“Car parking was convenient. Bed was comfortable. Storage facilities were a bit basic but ok for a night or two. Didn’t try dinner but breakfast ok”

“second time staying here first time was great this time not so. All water wasn’t working for at least two hours and had no notice, staff was rude over the phone when I was asking for help with something, a leak was coming through the lights in my room and the staff didn’t help just told us to stay in the room and there was nothing they can do”

“The rooms are too noisy because of the too thin walls and the people, the guests, are not so polite to avoid to speak out loud.”
