“Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!”

“This will do the job as a one night stay. The room was clean with a comfy bed which is what you really need at the end of the day. The rest of the hotel wasn't as clean and there were kids making noise in the hallways. If you're new to staying in Peterborough, this is almost a given - there's usually almost always some type of sports group/team that is staying at a hotel around May so just know this before you go.”

“The Hotel and hotel room were very clean with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly. The cost was a very good value as it also included a complimentary breakfast. The location is excellent for those attending events in Toronto and planning to use the GO Train to get downtown.”

“The property is in desperate need of refurbishment. The carpets are extremely stained and dirty and things like the trim in the bathroom and the flooring in the bathroom around the edges is all falling apart. The bed was comfortable but there is no USB by the bed that were functioning which made it very inconvenient. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was just so-so.”

“The commons spaces are bad maintained and the rogues are dirty and a bad smell is standing around even in my bedroom”
