“The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. “The hotel was in a great location, right downtown close to restaurants and the river side parks. It was easy to walk to most places we wanted to go to. One issue was that there is no parking at the hotel, so we had to park in the Municipal garage about a block away. Parking was free on the weekend. The room was old and a bit run down, but generally clean, except for the shower curtain which was stained and should have been replaced long ago. Also the bed covers have seen better days. “The room was clean. I especially liked that I wasn’t carpeted. I didn’t use the balcony but it was a nice to have for sure. Staff were friendly. The Pool area was clean and it was great having an indoor and outdoor option plus it was heated. The sauna was good too!”

“This is a basic motel. Very clean but dated. Staff were excellent and worked hard to take care of us.”

“Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again.”
