“I'd have to start with the staff each and every one of them were so professional so courteous so interactive and just made us feel like we were coming home there at night. It was a getaway and a halfway meeting point for two old sisters to spend some time together. “ The overall experience was excellent. My room had rips in the wallpaper in the bathroom so I hope I will not be charged for that damage. I had to give a $50 incidental fee at check in.”

“I love historic properties so this one was especially delightful close to so many sites of interest. Love the decor and all the Americana, with the history comes older facilities but if you can get past that it’s wonderful to stay in a charming original place. I especially enjoyed the dining options and decor- completed visit with a “shot heard round the world” shot glass for sale at the front desk! Great friendly staff as well.”

“Clean room, friendly réception employee. Though we were told all beds are queen size, that, they are not. Double beds at best. Not a lot of room for two adults and 2 small dogs. Comfortable though. Would return.”
