“Staff is amazing, very welcoming! Room was clean upon arrival. Breakfast was pretty good - waffles delicious and coffee was nice and strong! Yogurt provided, juice, apples and oranges, honey buns and danishes, and cereal. The only downside was no protein but it was manageable and provided a variety. The only negative we experienced was we had a smoke free room - which we requested. It was made clear on check-in that any smoke and we would be charged which is fine because we do not smoke....

“Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. ”
