“Do not book this hotel if you expect basic cleanliness or professional service. It was easily the most frustrating hotel experience we’ve ever had. Despite making daily, repeated requests to the front desk and management (Gabrielle, Travis, Danielle, and Kyle) to have our rooms cleaned, housekeeping skipped us every single day. “I reserved a room with two beds, none were available when we checked in. It took 4 tries before we were able to get into a room. First room, toilet was plugged and wouldn't flush. Second room smelled like someone had smoked in the room and the phone didn't work in the room Third the key wouldn't work and there was red tape on the lock Fourth room we were able to get into. “I paid for a suite but when I got there, they told me that they don't have any suites available. The room looked poor and breakfast was gone before 10 am”

“Not very clean. Pretty random down. Shower was so nasty we didn't even want to use it. Had to have the service desk guy fix the TV. Truly needs a good remodel and things replaced.”

“Excellent staff but the place was very run down. Smelled like a dog when we walked in and our room smelled like old cooking grease. No shampoo in the bathroom. Dressers and furniture were really beat up. I get that it is not a luxury hotel, but for $250/ night (graduation weekend price gouging), it was hard to swallow. Not gonna extend my stay here.”

“good location. easy access to freeways. was in DTW airport in 35mts the day I left. Opposite briarwood mall (not a great mall but for all it is worth). the rooms are sparse, almost austere. Very clean. does the job.”
