“Property was clean and very nice. Staff was very helpful, even during our mid evening fire alarm. LOL Did not use much at the hotel but saw that they had a ton of stuff. Will definitely be returning during our kids stay at JMU!! Maryann Towell”

“This property is nestled by the river, which is such a lovely spot. Donna is such a wonderful innkeeper; she made us feel right at home. If you’re searching for a lovely BnB near Shenandoah National Park, this is like home without the chores. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!”

“From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The bed was super comfortable and the caretaker, Julianne was so professional. Sitting on the rockers reading a book enjoying a hot cup of coffee was the perfect way to start the end. Highly recommend!!”

“The room smelled really bad. I think someone had smoked in there before, or maybe since it was on the first floor they must had some moisture issues. Also there was no water at all. They ran out when I checked in and in the morning when I checked out they didn't have any bottled water. And no complimentary coffee which is very unusual”

“Love the convenience of the Hotel Madison. I can visit my daughter on campus and never worry about where I am or where I'm going to park. Clean space, friendly service. Air conditioning is a little wonky (it is difficult to make room cool), but that is my only criticism. ”

“Found this resort by accident and it was a total God Wink. It was exactly what we were looking for and loved it. Golf course was fantastic! We will be coming back at least twice a year on our trips back and forth from Florida to New York.”
