Perched high among the trees in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains, Eagle's Nest is a lovely 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom cabin for up to 8 guests in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. While this great getaway boasts awesome mountain and tree-lined views, it's also located in the Chalet Village resort – convenient to the area's top attractions, restaurants, and shops. A quick drive will place you in the middle of it all, while a quick drive back to the cabin will mean a peaceful afternoon.

Warm wood walls welcome you in at Eagle's Nest, a cabin that was made with comfort in mind. The cabin offers 3 king-size beds for guests, so there is no fighting over the “best” bedroom. Each space is its own retreat, with a TV in every bedroom and an en-suite bathroom for each. When you're not enjoying privacy in the bedrooms, come together to relax and unwind with mountain views in the living room. Take advantage of wireless internet in the cabin, flip on the TV and put a movie in the DVD player, or prepare some snacks together in the fully equipped kitchen.

Entertainment at Eagle's Nest includes arcade games and a pool table, along with access to a community pool in the resort! At the cabin, soak away stresses in the outdoor hot tub, toss burgers on the gas grill, open a good book by the electric, heated fireplace, or just enjoy a drink while relaxing in the rocking chairs. Inside and out, find the peace you've been seeking at this charming mountain retreat!

Community pool access is provided and managed through a third party. Host is not liable for amenity availability, maintenance, downtime, or pool closures under any circumstances.

Perched high in the mountains (above Ober), you'll travel winding, sometimes steep roads to reach this property; there is a sharp curve to get to the flat, paved, slightly slanted driveway with parking for up to 2 vehicles. There are 5 steps up to reach the front porch.

Cleanliness was an issue and lack of overall comfort. The pullout sofa was terrible to sleep on and when we initially pulled it out the first night, there was a bunch of food crumbs and weird metal rod that could have been a safety issue. There were zero blankets for the pullout sofa and the spare pillows we found were king size and the only pillow cases provided were queen size. Even the quilts on the beds in the bedrooms were super thin. Again, no other blankets could be found. A family member went out and bought sweatpants to sleep in because of having no blankets. One of the towels provided was dirty. I did mention the issue with pullout sofa as well as the dirty towel to property management company, all they offered to do was send someone with a new towel and clean the crumbs. We had spare towels so we didn’t need someone to bring over one new one. And we obviously cleaned the crumbs so we didn’t sleep in it. We originally were going to cook a whole Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, but luckily our plans changed. What they provided in the kitchen was minimal with the exception of plates, glasses, and eating utensils. It would have been a nightmare if we did cook in that kitchen. I even messaged ahead of time about what was provided in the kitchen because we planned to cook a Thanksgiving meal so we could ensure we brought whatever else we needed. We would have missing a lot of things based off of what they said they had. Overall, definitely not worth the money.

Great view. We had 2 seperate bears visit over the weekend. Very nice place. Check in could have been more streamline and the climate control was very limited. Other than those very small issues, the stay was amazing!

Short Weekend GetAway

Everything Was Amazing. I Cannot Think Of 1 Bad Compliment. It’s A Cabin In A Village And Not Secluded And It Was Still Perfect. Even Had A Bunny Rabbits Running Around A Young Black Bear Came To Visit Us A Few Times Lol. I would recommend this host or this property To AnyOne In The Future I Might Return Soon. Thanks .

Perfect Stay

Had everything we needed to make it a memorable stay including a visit from a family of bears that entertained us with a milti-cub parade off the back deck....meanwhile their mom and dad had their way in our unlocked car with a trail of potato chips and popcorn from the driver side door down the hill...quite hilarious actually. We will not forget this well coordinated attack by a clever bear family.😃

Great place, wish has some amenities

Place is great and almost perfect in everything, especially cleanliness and view. However, I lowere the overall rating due to missing very simple things such as shampoo, kitchen and laundry detergents, limited toilet papers and hand soaps….. for travelers it will be very difficult to buy these things every time we move…. Other places have all of these and much more

Gal Bunch takes on Gatlinburg 2023

This weekend we traveled to this cabin to celebrate my cousin birthday and the cabin did not disappoint! The cabin is as seen online, the overall cleanliness of the property is a win every time. I have nothing but food things to say about this property and will highly recommend this location! We ended the vacation on a high night by being graced by the presence of a bear the morning of or departure. Great and prompt communication from the host, 10/10 experience!

Great Place

Great place, the pictures that are online are accurate to the experience at the cabin. On the first floor you will find the main living area: The Kitchen, family room, pool table, dining room table are all in one great room under the "A" frame cabin on the top floor. The bedrooms & laundry room are on the 2nd floor. It was place was clean & functional, and our kids enjoyed the old school arcade game. The only knock I would have is the windows in the bedrooms downstairs have blinds that are not very effective, so forget trying to sleep in. Additionally, there are little to no blinds in the upstairs windows that face east, thus trying to watch TV in the morning can be challenging.

Spectacular View but needs TLC

We loved the cabin and the views of the Smoky Mountains! The cabin was very spacious and had a pool table and arcade game that we really enjoyed! We saw bears every day so we were excited! The bones of this cabin are awesome but it really needs some attention. The mattresses need replaced - and it would have been nice if the sheets actually fit the beds. There was bacon grease still on some of the cookware. There was no street sign for our cabin - thank God for GPS. The TV remote in family room wasn’t working so we could not watch tv except in bedrooms. Grill was unusable - it was disgustingly dirty, old and missing a knob. The front door lock was temperamental - it always took 3-4 tries to get it open. You could hear noises in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. Then we saw birds flying into a vent on the side of the cabin. Carpet had lots of waves and needs replaced or at very least, restretched. We never found the pool. The place just needs some TLC! It is beautiful and bones are good - someone just needs to update it!

Beautiful view, unclean cabin

I usually dont do reviews but felt the need to. Let me preface this by saying the view is spectacular! Couldn't have asked for a better view. Now, the cabin itself could use a little attention. First, you would expect there to be some kind of Christmas decorations. Lights, a wreath, something welcoming at Christmas but nothing! It is a very outdated cabin. Old shag carpet and furniture!! The fireplace didn't seem to work. Called, someone came & said it was on. you couldn't actually see the fire. The glass was so black, you couldn't see the flames! Then hot tub was so cold! Had to turn it on and wait, a whole day, for it to warm. You think with guest coming you would have it on. The floors had not been cleaned. There were fruit loops under coffee table and coins in floor in bedrooms. There was old coffee in coffee pot. Jacuzzi tub was dirty. Turned it on and black stuff came out! In guest bathroom there were ants crawling all over the sink. Was awakened one morning @ 8:30 by a phone call, a text and someone knocking on door because of an item that previous people left behind, 3 days after we had been there. Needless to say, we were very disappointed for the money we paid for our 5 night stay wasnt worth it!! And, to top it all off, it showed our last day. It was beautiful but roads were covered. We called for late check out or possible road conditions. We were told by girl that her manager said "we had til cleaning crew got there and we had to get out". Now I'm sure they will reply and say we didn't notify them of problems but we did. I called several times. So if you want a beautiful view, this cabin is it. If you want a nice, clean cabin, this isn't for you!!

Very nice

We had Great experience In Gaitlinburg, and the National Park. The house locked it in, it’s very comfortable and cozy. If your looking for a pristine type setting, this may not be your spot, or city. The cabin is located on top of a Ski Mtn. The road up is a bit steep and windy, but totally tenable. House was fully equipped. Great bedrooms, showers and appliances. Noticed a few things that were worn, and a bit messy, but overall if your looking for a spectacular view, fireplace, and a working HVAC, this cabin was perfect. I’d go back in a heartbeat…. Oh and prepare yourself for about 1:30 mins of traffic coming into gaitlinburg off the I-40 exit.

Best Stay in Gatlinburg

We've been to Gatlinburg a few times over the years, but this time was the most comfortable and beautiful stay. The views were breathtaking, the videos of the bears were heartwarming, and the fun/memories we had inside the cabin were unforgettable. Any question or issue we had was resolved quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin.

Bear themed cabin with bear sighting

We had a very pleasant stay. There were a few small hiccups (shortage of forks, previous tenants didn’t clean the griddle, wad of hair tucked in a flower arrangement) but overall the stay was nice, and we saw a bear right outside our balcony!

Beautiful view

Beautiful view and we can see how it’s name is Eagle’s nest! The roads are very curvy and steep! You do have take quick showers to have hot water! My only recommendation is to provide straps for the hot tub, we had a few windy nights and the cover kept flying off, luckily we had a rope to secure it so we wouldn’t have any damages.
