Hotel a Georgetown

“The breakfast was minimal toast, small containers of yogurt, cold cereal, weak coffee and small waffles. The water fountain was broken, vending machines empty swimming pool closed for repairs. Carpet was stained and filthy mattress stained although they did have mattress cover on it. The darkening curtains had a cut in it that you could see out into the parking lot. The room had a musty smell and vents were dirty.”

“Room was in good condition and clean. Breakfast items included Scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, two cold cereals, pot of oatmeal, yogurt, juice, a small number of fresh fruit, bread, and bagels. Very close to Interstate 80 and restaurants. They add a $50 incidentals charge upon check-in that is to be credited after check-out. I don't care for these types of charges as you need to keep track of whether your credit card is credited as stated. There isn't a clock in the room, and we didn't...

“Check in was easy and front desk attendants were great. Our room was a little smelly, and the bathroom was not clean. We had an early check out and less than a 24 hour stay, so we did not report anything to staff.”

“This is a unique property. Lots of Studebaker memorabilia, very clean and quiet area. Don, the host was very nice. The rooms were clean, the house was cozy. We will definitely consider staying there again.”

“We stay for two days and I expect that the staff will clean and arrange our beddings but she or he didn’t do it. They clean a little bit of our bathroom but the sink you can see the dirty that they didn’t clean. I hope the management will check the room specially the sink because need to be clean.”

“The whole hotel smelled like wet dog. The room directly across from us had at least two dogs that barked most of the night. The parking lot had garbage and people just hanging out. Do not recommend location or this property”

“Amazing, highly recommend!! Nothing feels like a good ole Midwest trip like a porch swing, historic buildings and antique furniture.”

“The room was horrible, we could hardly walk around without bumping into something. We stayed for 6 days and no one ever cleaned the room even if we asked. Our bed had stains on the sheets and someone else’s hairs. We couldn’t use our tub, the water was cut off for hours, outside was filthy! We found a pill on the floor under the table. Staff would not give us new towels, new bedding, or even empty the trash. This was honestly the worst hotel we’ve EVER stayed in. Don’t waste your money or time.”

“Room was clean and queen beds were nice. Bathroom sink frequently backed up and two of the lights were burned out. Hallway carpets were threadbare and upturned ends were peeling away from the walls, giving the entire hotel a much more disheveled look than it probably deserved. Breakfast was very good for the money (free). Air confining in room worked well but traveling partner said it frequently felt excessively humid to him. (It did rain on and off during our stay.)”
