Hotel a Gladys

“Staff was great. When told of (2) problems with our room, she efficiently and effectively took care of the matter and got us into another room. Kathy in the breakfast area was very personable and kept the area very clean and well-stocked. Housekeeping is very attentive and professional. Physical structure itself is in need of repair/upgrades. For example, shower doors in two different rooms did not properly close and allowed water to leak out onto the floor. Staff is doing a great job but...

“Everything was nice will come back”

“The breakfast was good. Juice was not watered down. The blind on an inside door was broken into several pieces. We had to leave it pulled up. & One of the drawers was also broken. We didn't need to use it, but it came apart when we opened it. The bed was comfortable. So, that was the biggest plus. We had been told it was the nicest room in the motel (not by the motel management), but, I don't think it was. Room 101 is the room we stayed in.”

“Very up-to-date with lots of nice features. Large bathroom. Bed was really nice. Treadmill was great. A fan in the workout room would be nice”

“If you plan to go to this area frankly there is no better alternative. From the charming rooms and staff to the excellent meals, Babcock is a great place to stay.”

“The property is great and all workers are wonderful. The only downside is some of the people staying there are absolute “clowns” to say the least. They allow their children to run around in the room well past midnight and don’t care about any of the other guest. Classic entitlement syndrome but that should not reflect poorly on the employees so I still give 5-stars.”

“This was a perfect stay. The Staff were all so helpful, friendly, and we had a wonderful stay at this Comfort Inn, in Lynchburg, VA. The Breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, bisquits and gravy, waffles, cereal, donuts, juices, coffee, and was as good or better than any other Hotel we have stayed at. Had a restful sleep as the beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this Comfort Inn.”

“The hotel did not charge a deposit to my credit card at check-in and allowed check-in after 3:00 p.m. The room was clean, and extra washcloths, towels, and tissues were provided upon request. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The side entrance did not work with the room key card after hours, which was inconvenient. The bed was comfortable, and the pillow was comfortable, although it was smaller than expected. There was a slight delay when using the TV remote control. The refrigerator...

“This place is so cool! With limited options in the Appomattox area, this is the one to go with! Unique and quaint, would definitely stay again!”

“Room was fine Smell when entering from the back door was nasty- old smelly carpet, Weeds in rock garden - looked unkempt. And, back door didn’t have any security lock.”
