“Rooms need to be updated and repaired. Beds needs to be replaced. Chair is room was broken and on off season the bar and grill is not recommended.”

“Nice and quiet. Nice little town very friendly. Lots of hiking and things to do at your own pace.”

“I stayed here with my dog while we were going to visit New River Gorge (which I also highly recommend!). Nobody seemed annoyed that I had my dog! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay. It was safe and clean. The park was super close and there is a ton of stuff to eat nearby as well. I appreciated the room also came with a fridge and microwave. Good tv options (it rained a lot on day so I appreciated this). Coffee available all day. Ample parking. Really can’t go wrong...

“The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Not a bad property for the value. It needs updating, but that does not bother me as long as it’s clean and comfortable. I always love when they have a waffle machine and free breakfast. Overall, for the value, I would definitely stay again.”

“Very nice rebuild in progress. We were there for the soft open and experienced some of the growing pains. But the staff was friendly and kind. The room was very clean. We would have liked to know in advance that the pool was not functioning. Looks like the place is on it's way to be a really good value in a convenient location.”

“The front desk staff was very friendly and suggested a restaurant and also the New River Gorge Visitor Center. We went to both places and enjoyed them. The bed was comfortable. Had a complimentary breakfast that was okay. If I were to go back I would probably stay there again.”

“Really great place for the price. Extremely comfortable bed and a cozy room. Really enjoyed the bench near the window in my room. My only complaint is the water pressure is very low. Definitely recommend overall though!”

“The gentleman who waited on us to check in & out wasn’t friendly. He was difficult to hear because he spoke softly. He did not offer a receipt at check out. The Window blind in room was broken. When retracting, it appeared to be broken on the left side. There was no wall thermostat in the room - only holes where it should have been. A channel guide would be helpful for the tv.”

“The entire hotel was very clean, the staff was excellent, breakfast was as better than I expected, parking was very convenient. The pool table was an added bonus for myself and I noticed for other guest as well. The business center area was ready for all my business needs.”
