“A bit away from downtown but super nice hotel. Took about 20 minutes to walk downtown. Bistro and provided breakfast was great. Couldn’t get into the spa - Large room. Jetted tub.”

“Clean large room. Warm shower. Room cleaned each day. Free parking. Easy access to major roads into St. John's. Muffins and coffee available each morning. One complaint and it's nothing to do with the hotel or staff. Someone smoking Marijuana in a nearby room one night and smell got into our room. Unfortunately its an issue we've faced at other hotels.”

“We spent overnight for my daughter’s birthday and the front desk during our check in was very helpful and polite. The room was good and tidy and extra blanket and pillow was even prepared in the cupboard. Overall stay and amenities was good except for the breakfast we were kind of late to go down like 10 mins before 9:30am which was the closing time, the servers were already putting away the food and throwing the scrambled eggs to the trash. Such a waste and it wasn’t even closing yet some guest...

“We had a wonderful stay here! The restaurant on-site was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of our trip. Our room was also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The only minor downsides were that we wished the property was dog-friendly, and it would have been great if the chairs in the room had footrests for a bit of extra comfort. That being said, the pros far outweighed the cons. We would absolutely recommend.”

“We’re repeat guests and always choose Leaside! Bonavista and Trinity are our favourite suites because we love having direct outdoor access from the room. Breakfast is always delicious, and the staff have consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate my spouse’s celiac disease. Everyone is friendly, the area is peaceful, and we always enjoy our stay!”

“Should not be near Hotel prices...shared washrooms down the hall that were far from clean...no TV in room or common area..parking was considerably far away..no tea or coffee cups at the so called continental breakfast...definitely will not be returning!!..not what was expected for the price...pay the little extra and get a hotel”

“We only used the pool. It was very cold so they only stayed a short time.”

“Room was not very inviting. Wires hanging from TV some pink stuff hanging from air conditioning unit. Thermostat did not appear to be working. It was quite cool in the morning. Gentlemen behind the check in desk was not very welcoming did not even look up when we were waiting to book in. We had two rooms and he had taken credit card info for both rooms and then the billing for both rooms was on one credit card. Not sure why he would take info for two different credit cards. Price for the...

“Very modern, it’s clean, and it’s in a great location.”

“Great room with newer finishings and furniture. The hotel was clean and generally well maintained, however one of the two elevators was not in operation, so there was a small wait time to get to your floor.”

“Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs. Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying).”
