“The suite was very spacious and clean. We hadn't stayed in that spacious a room/suite in a very long time. The room had wrap around windows and a beautiful view of Downtown Wilmington and beyond. The suite was light filled and at night it was deeply quiet. The kitchen, bathroom, bed and nightstands were clean and we loved that the headboard was faux leather instead of cloth, so it is easy to clean and does not hold dust, dirt or stains. “The staff was very friendly and accommodating with any issues pertaining to our room. The remodeling did not have any negative impact on our stay and it was very enjoyable. The parking is convenient although you have to pay for it, it’s not much. Prior to the arrival date we received 3 messages from The Inn at Whitewing Farm welcoming us and letting us know of all amenities and the fees associated with them nothing else. “Nice room & convenient first floor location... though, facing the car-patk was not desirable. Would have liked other hot breakfast options ie scrambled eggs & bacon. There was ongoing difficulty with waffle maker which discouraged folks from using it. Hotel was in easy proximity to Longwood Gsrdens & Brandywine Museum of Art... a definite plus!”
