“This hotel is an example of spaces well designed. The architecture speaks to you. Spaces are beautiful, feel calm and purposeful. We felt safe, hotel was clean and comfortable, and staff was professional. ”

“Every employee that we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The Christmas tree in the lobby was beautiful and created a magical, holiday vibe. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. We loved every minute of our stay. ”

“Clean room and cannot beat the price. One bad thing was when someone above me was taking a shower you could really hear it. I thought mt bathroom was flooding - that’s how loud it was. Still, I give 5 stars because you get a nice room with a kitchen for a very good price. ”

“The staff was very friendly. There was no breakfast available because of renovation. This was disappointing because it was suppose to be included. The parking was not connected to hotel. Was not aware i would have to pay for parking each day.”

“Be aware that there is on street parking that requires a permit from the city of Wilmington. Red Awni ng worked with me to resolve the issue but it took some time and a few texts to make it work.The on street parking placed me a block and half from the propery. No cost but need proof of renting the space. The GPS sent you down a one way street that does not bring by the front of the property. This was a problem finding the property after dark. “The main reception area lounge was beautiful. The room we had was almost perfect. The layout was great, the fireplace was a dream and my wife (this is Cornell speaking) went straight for that soaking bath tub. The grounds were interesting and it was nice learning about the history of the hotel. And the front desk reception staff were great - especially Renee.”
