Good to see fresh fruits avaliable quality local.produce sourced. Dining room very attractive; staff warm, hospitable but very efficient. Only gave 4 stars for property condition because it is undergoing a major refurbishment, some furniture and furnishings a little tired, but nothing to impact negatively on our stay. Certainly ...

“I had an excellent stay at The Northallerton Inn. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The entire property was spotlessly clean and the upgraded room was huge with a very comfortable bed and a pristine bathroom.
Parking was easy at the rear of the hotel.
The overall experience great. I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.”

“Freindly staff, room was cozy had everything that was needed although bed was a little hard for my likeing but thats just personal choice,breakfast was probly best ive had in any hotel, hotel is close to local pubs,diners infact everything ,will definetly be using again.”

There was a problem with the boiler, affecting the central heating, but the receptionist provided a portable electric heater when it couldn't be sorted. Showers were electric so worked, and were nicely fitted out.
I added the breakfast, which was really good value.

Then curly wurly was a great idea instead of biscuits in the room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Cannot fault the service we received at the bar or in the restaurant and the food was amazing. ”

The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views.
It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic we would book again.
