Viaggia indietro nel tempo agli anni '50 a 'Shack's Cabin', una cabina per le vacanze a Greenfield con 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno, per 8 persone. Situato su un acro privato nello Show-Me State, questa cabina di 1.120 piedi quadrati è a solo un miglio giù dalla strada dal bacino di Stockton, dove troverete 22.000 ettari di terreno pubblico per praticare la caccia e la pesca. 'Shack's Cabin', costruita nel 2018, si trova su un ettaro di terreno privato, circondato solo da splendidi pini e querce senza un vicino in vista. Mentre cammini all'interno, l'odore dei biscotti appena sfornati ti farà sicuramente sentire come a casa.

Dopo una giornata di caccia al tacchino, calcagna i piedi nel soggiorno aperto e trascorri del tempo con i tuoi cari. Mentre guardi i tuoi programmi preferiti sulla TV a schermo piatto e mangi un po 'di popcorn burroso alzato rapidamente con il popper elettrico, potrai goderti il calore della stufa a gas del Vermont sotto gli alti soffitti della cattedrale.

Ha un appetito al lago? Entra nella cucina completamente attrezzata e mostra le tue abilità culinarie. A prescindere da cosa tu scelga di montare sui piani di lavoro estesi, i tuoi amici saranno sicuramente impressionati mentre festeggiano al tavolo da pranzo per 4 persone.

I so wish we could have this exact cabin on all adventures from this point forward, along with host Kathy. A new bar for 5 stars was set - on cleanliness, charm, details, setting, and comfort.

What a wonderful stay! The cabin was just adorable! It was so very clean, and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. We were visiting with family nearby and this cabin was our little sanctuary at the end of each day. A wonderful place to recharge!

Perfect Getaway!

Phenomenal place! Kathy came over at check-in. She made sure we had what we needed and helped acclimate us to the activities in the area. She was fantastic, and the cabin couldn't have been better. It had everything we could have asked for...from the cute electric fireplace inside, to the screened-in back porch, to the fire pit...it was an experience in itself. Highly recommend and hope to go back.

Perfect getaway

This is a perfect spot to get away from it all. It is as beautiful as it appears on the website. It is very clean and the attention to detail in the decor is amazing. We observed deer, turkey and pheasant from the back deck. The outdoor shower is awesome. We would love to return and highly recommend this property!

Beautiful cabin

Enjoyed Shack's Cabin! It is tucked away by itself in a quiet area! Can't think of anything negative to say just all around a neat, clean place to stay. Yummy cookies to welcome you...nice fire pit area and a screened in porch. Fun old fashioned gas oven to cook on! Lake near by! Thanks for the great stay!

Charming Cabin in the Country

The cabin is beautiful and was immaculately clean. You can tell that a lot of care was put into the construction and decoration. It's was well stocked with everything we wanted. The hosts were super nice without being intrusive. The property was very well maintained and felt very secluded. Everyone we met in town was friendly. It's within walking distance of a nature trail and just a short drive to the lake. You can actually see the lake from the loft window of the cabin. 10 out of 10 and I'm already looking forward to going back.

Girls weekend escape from the city

It was peaceful, clean, and beautiful. Kathy and Mike were great. The cabin has everything you need. The views were wonderful if you like the quite peaceful country setting this is the place. My daughters (18 and 19yr old city girls) absolutely loved it. The beds were comfortable. I loved the inside of the cabin too. Takes you back in time like your at mom and dads or for some of you your grandparents or great grandparents. It’s spacious so you don’t feel like your on top of each other. Loved sitting on the porch and by the fire pit out back. It was cold out but we can’t resist a good old campfire. We definitely are keeping this cabin as a place to come back too. I can’t think of one negative thing about this booking.

The cabin is very nice and well taken care of. Nice secluded, country setting only a few minutes from a boat ramp. Kathy is good to work with and just a text away if you need anything.

Fathers Day Gift

We stayed here as a gift for my husband. We went fishing at Stockton Lake every day. The cabin was perfect, nostalgic with modern amenities, the host was sweet and kind when she checked us in. We saw cows every night, we grilled out, beds were great, outside shower amazing. We will come back it was absolutely perfect.

Perfect Father’s Day Retreat

This cabin is right up at the top of places to stay in Stockton Lake area! The cabin is off by its self in a quite country area so your sure to enjoy all nature has to offer. Decor that is simply divine! Enjoy cooking on the vintage stove and then enjoy your meals on the screened in porch! Our kids (and adults) enjoyed a short drive to the swim beach and coming back to enjoy the outdoor shower! It’s life changing after a day at the lake. If your looking for a unique cabin, look no further this is the spot for you!

Sister Time

My sister and I met here for a few days of relaxing and visiting as we had not seen each other in over three years. We had stayed here before with family and like the peaceful country setting of the cabin which has all the amenities of home. The host are very accommodating and available if needed. We are looking forward to a third stay here.

Great little getaway!

This cabin is put together and shown off well! It is not cheaply done. You are paying for a quality place when you rent this cabin!! The location is very quiet and away from any noise. Very relaxing, inviting and a place to connect with nature yet with a comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend it! I know my family and I will be repeat guests here without hesitation!

We just checked out of Shack’s Cabin and wish we were still there. Before we even arrived Kathy was making sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived the fire was on and we felt at home right away. The cabin has everything you need - literally everything. The kitchen is so well thought out and there really is a blend of modern efficiency with items that take you back to lunch at your grandmothers. We baked enchiladas at night and had biscuits out by the fire pit in the mornings. My two sons (ages 10 and 5) loved being on the property. There were adventures to be had every time we walked outside. They even got to play with Kathy’s cute basset hound Pixie! Unwinding, watching a DVD (a great assortment are provided), eating popcorn and just spending time together was priceless. Above all. Kathy is the best host we have ever had on any stay. Stop reading reviews and book this cabin!

Cozy and Comfortable

We rented this cabin over Thanksgiving for our family of 6. It’s the perfect spot to get away and relax! We enjoyed cooking s’mores by the fire pit, playing board games, doing a puzzle, reading, cooking and watching Christmas movies. Communication with the host was incredible, easy, and she was so sweet and attentive to the details. We cannot thank You enough for the hospitality! 10/10 You will love this cabin!!

Beautiful property

Property and amenities were unique. Owners live next door, so I guess easy access if you need something. However it felt like being monitored all weekend. We had reserved it for the same time next year and decided to cancel it.

My 17 year old called this our best vacation EVER

Our family cannot say enough about our stay at Mike and Kathy's cabin. The heat was AWFUL the week we were there, but the cabin was a refuge. We now know for a fact we are GLAMPERS. We went out in the mornings to enjoy nature and retreated to the cabin in the heat of the day. Our 17 year old daughter thought it was the coolest cabin ever. She and we were so impressed with the nature-lover's aesthetic Kathy created. It is the perfect blend of rustic and new. The vintage appliances were like new. Between cooking on the 1950's stove and brewing coffee in the 50's percolator and the many other vintage details, we felt transported in time. We learned to know the time of day by the wildlife traveling through the yard, saw more stars than we've seen in a very long time, and discovered the joy of using an outdoor shower. Everything was a perfect blend of being in nature...but having posh things like electricity, soft beds, and AC at your fingertips. We hated to leave! We can't WAIT to go back. Thank you, Kathy and Mike for hosting us!! We loved every minute!

Loved the cabin

We did enjoy the cabin! Very secluded, but a short drive to town if necessary. The only thing that didn’t sit well with us is how the host reacted to our children when she showed up (like they were going to destroy the place or something because they were eating Nutella sandwiches). & she showed up and came in without a mask. Otherwise it’s a great place.

Great Lake Cabin

We have stayed here two years in a row, we love the cabin! It is very clean and the accommodations are excellent! I would certainly refer this property to anyone! Good location as well!
