Hotel a Grenville

“The property was so peaceful, everything was clean and despite how cool the the weather was it was always lovely and warm inside.”

“Always clean & tidy. Thank you for another great stay”

“From the moment we walked into our room I absolutely hated it. It had such a bad smell, room wasn’t clean. It’s very old and outdated and the beds are horrible. You can feel the springs in the mattress.. avoid this place!”

“Central location walkable to dining zone and next door to City Hall and excellent tourism office. Grand historic building with museum quality decor, and lots of historic wall prints and memorabilia. Rooms comfortable, feel like you are back in the days when Mark Twain and royals came here to stay.”

“Beds weren’t super comfortable.”

“Very clean and staff very helpful , great position for sovereign Hill”

“Nice to stay where the property actually lived up to the description. Clean, comfortable and spacious. A little dated but well priced for its age.”

“I was incredibly surprised how good the room was for such a reasonable price. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, clean and new at the time of our stay. We will be staying here again for our next stay in Ballarat.”

“Great little stay for the night. Hot showers, warm heating, comfy beds and little extras like slipper and toothbrushes. Staff at check in very helpful.”

“Great staff clesn quite room”

“TV, microwave and kettle/toaster nice. Lights for some reason had no covers on them, too bright to leave on without the covers. Ended up finding them in the cupboard, carpet was a little sticky. Room wasnt available until a little after 2. Parking was limited car park was all filled up when we arrived back to hotel no where to park. We ended up leaving at 1130 pm to go back home. Would be suitable for couples or singles only staying a little while. Didnt suit us a family.”

“The decor was aging, but the room was clean. Bed was firm. You get what you pay for! Wifi coverage was poor in the front room.”

“The staff were great to deal with and able to extend our stay the day before we arrived. The location was good with easy access and safe parking The room was spacious with a comfortable clean bed and large fridge freezer. The bathroom was also spacious with a roomy shower with abundant hot water and pressure. The fittings in the bathroom were shonky with the roll holder falling off along with a towel rail, these could be easily fixed. We would stay again.”

“It smellt like people had been smoking the rooms”
