“Breakfast was from Walmart, not many choices. Curtains had some holes. There was no air conditioning on when we arrived. It took a while to cool down.”

“This facility received low ratings for the following reasons: Our room wasn't cleaned when we checked-in (9pm), despite housekeeping saying it was. We were moved to another room, but had to go request bath towels because we had none. Bottom of stairwell reeked of cigarette smoke (as did a front desk staff). Room was nice. Bathroom could use a serious update (mold spot on ceiling from water damage). "Hot" tub was very cloudy & not at all hot. Room showers did not provide very hot water...

“Very clean and conveniently located off the interstate. Although the decor is a bit dated, the moose theme was cute. I truly appreciated a quilt instead of a thick comforter. There was a note on top of the fridge that mentioned not using the white towels to clean; use the colored ones instead. Our room had navy towels. “Older property. We had to move rooms as the air conditioning leaked and there was a huge fan drying out the carpet. We moved to the next room over. We could still smell the mildew. We turned on the air and smelled mildew. Luckily it was not a typical hot humid Iowa day and we were able to open the window. The staff was excellent. This property definitely needs TLC. I would not stay here again. We were going Ragbrai bike ride so we had no other choice as other hotels were booked. I...
