Hotel a Marengo

“The Trail Inn was cute and charming right in the center of amana. You could walk to all the shops and restaurants near by to the cutest German stores. The rooms were clean and well kept and staff was attentive if there were any questions.”

“Rooms are nice bedding was out dated and a little musty smelling. But for the price it worked very well !!”

“The place was beautiful the owners were so nice and amazing. We spent the weekend between Amana Colonies and Iowa City. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and visit. I will defently stay there again if I am back in Iowa. ”

“I always enjoy staying at hotel Millwork- centrally located, unique transformation of an old woolen mill into a modern hotel. This stay was overall good. 4/5 only because they’re one option for breakfast, which is their restaurant, was not operational the morning I left because apparently the waitress didn’t show up. There were very few other options in the Amana‘s for breakfast and the staff really had no solution to the problem. Otherwise, a good stay.”

“We had a wonderful 2 night stay! Nice clean rooms, love the mirror outside the bathroom- less steaming up- plus awesome light!! Comfortable beds and appreciate the extra pillows! Thank you!! Staff was Very friendly and helpful -we look forward to our next stay in Williamsburg, Iowa!! 👍👍😍”

“The room had an odor of smoke. The bathroom door was stuck on the floor. You really had to push or pull the door to make it move, and it didn’t close all the way.”

“The room wasn’t very clean. There was a clump of hair in the shower when we arrived. Pool was nice though.”

“The room was not that clean, floors were sticky. Staff was excellent. Overall the stay was ok but nothing to rave about.”

“The room was clean but smelled like dog. We stayed in four hotels that week across the country and this had the worst breakfast, cold biscuit, bad sausage,no egg all at 840 breakfast closed at 9. a little disappointing”
