“Great stay to relax but food not many choices”

“Richmond Hill is my little oasis - it is far enough from east London that I feel I'm really away but easy enough to get to with a direct train and then either a 20 min walk (it is up hill!) or 7 min taxi journey. “Outstanding hotel, highly recommend. Excellent friendly staff made us feel very welcome. We got a basic double room which was small but efficient. It did have small bedside tables on each side of the bed and a small desk with chair. Nice little nook held the coffee and tea service. Shower pressure was great, linens were high quality, bed was comfortable. We did have drinks in the bar/seating area after returning from dinner and had a lovely visit with the front desk staff. Lots of dining options...
