“We booked a room as part of a wedding party .wedding was at 2pm. Check in is 4pm which is quite late ,we had to be in the orangery for 4pm so staff managed to check us in 3.40pm .Room was perfect, slept well,breakfast amazing. Food at the wedding of Becky and Mark was incredible. Our first visit here and we will definitely return and use the pool/spa as we didn't get chance to on this occasion. Check out at 11am is good, no rushing around. Thankyou for a lovely stay ”

“We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...

“Only stayed 2 nights for the air show so the location was the key factor as majority of other hotels nearer to the event were fully booked. We have stayed in this hotel for the air show on numerous occasions, but unfortunately on this occasion we found the hotel to be a little bit tired in its décor and overall appearance. we can't comment on anything else as we didn't have anything else other than a good couple of nights sleep.”

“Our first room wasn’t great, safe not working, lamp not working and shade torn, pillows were more like cushions, curtains torn and very creased! Desperately in need of a revamp. We were moved to a different room on our 2nd day which was an improvement but still in need of a revamp. Rooms are tired. For the price we paid we expected it to be 4 star but it’s more like 3 star. No Tissues or facecloths - Little things but necessary and what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel. No fridge in room...

“A lovely hotel situated in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Superior room was excellent. A nice size with a double shower and bath. Bed was comfy. Hotel restaurant had a good choice and food was of a very good standard. Breakfast particularly set us up well for the day. Hotel staff were also welcoming and very helpful. “Great place to stay extremely polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely experience too. If i had to find a minus point it would be no black out blinds or curtauns in the rooms so as soon as the sun came up the venetian blinds hid nothing, but im just clutching at straws here.
