“It was the worst place I've stayed in my entire life, the shower didn't work on any of the days I was there, I made 6 complaints and nothing was resolved, there simply wasn't hot water, the bathroom and room were only cleaned one day Anyway, thank God I'm in another hotel here in York, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.”

“Wonderful, warm welcome. Room very comfortable. Few tweaks needed - drawers not easily accessible, hanging space a bit high. Wonderful shower - walk-in, such a treat as most hotels have showers inaccessible to anyone with any mobility issues. Surprisingly quiet even though on main road. Great for a couple of nights”

“I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. There were a couple of bottles of water in the room and some discount vouchers, all of which were an unexpected bonus. The kitchenette was handy if you wanted to make a drink...
