“Just had an outstanding stay at Bel and The Dragon. Everything was 5 stars. The pub/restaurant atmosphere was fab and the quality of the food was excellent - truly delicious. The rooms were clean and airy, and the bathroom with the roll-top bath was lovely. The complementary tea and coffee, whiskey and sloe gin were all a great addition. Every single member of staff was polite and helpful and the service was outstanding. What a fabulous stay! Will be back!”

“This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab.”

“Welcoming and friendly reception with time given to explaining the guesthouse facilities etc. Spotlessly clean room and shower room. Spacious bedroom with walk-in wardrobe for storage. Warm and comfortable. Quality bedlinen. Tea making facilities in room as well as access to guest kitchen for preparing food if required. Delicious breakfast preordered beautifully presented. Good WiFi. Quite simply nothing was too much trouble for Natalie who demonstrates quite clearly that she loves her running...

“Che peccato! Una struttura magnifica in un luogo splendido. Purtroppo il servizio, dal concierge alle cameriere veramente non all’altezza (invio foto di come hanno lasciato il pigiama 😳). Nella lista dei ristoranti del circondario proponevano locali chiusi da anni. L’Ascensore è rimasto rotto da quando siamo arrivati al terzo giorno quando siamo andati via, eravamo al terzo piano. I had a comfortable stay - the room and especially the bathroom were very small (I struggled to close the bathroom door without squeezing behind it) The breakfast was very nice and made to order with quality ingredients. Check in was good but the reception staff should inform guests that the key ring for the hotel room also acts as a fob for the hotel gates. “Slightly confused breakfast selection. Ordered a full English but most items available at the buffet as well. Asked for baked beans and told none available! Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Appreciated the fact that there was no extra charge for some of the goodies left in the room, use of bicycles and EV charging. Lovely setting. ”
