Hotel a Heage

“Perfect pub-hotel, friendly people and fantastic breakfast.”

“We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊”

“One night before transferring. Hotel with standard facilities in line with holiday inn standards.”

“The hotel was very outdated and in poor condition. The bathroom was mouldy with black grout and smelt. The only natural light in the room was an emergency exit door. The overall look of the room wasn’t well kept with old furniture. Picture online very deceiving”

“Camera pulita”

“Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück ist einfach umwerfend.”

“Friendly staff, good food, easy parking and very reasonably priced,”

“Tutto Ok”

“Allora, quello che non mi e' piaciuto è che avevo la camera sopra la cucina e che quindi mi arrivavano tutti fumi in camera specialmente negli orari di punta quando le persone andavano a cena. Del resto tutto ok”

“Great location for Matlock Bath illumination. Hotel has an Indian restaurant which was popular but we had already booked elsewhere. The hotel is generally clean and tidy but some aspects of cleaning could be improved. The shower doors and bathroom floor would have benefited from a better clean. Good parking facilities on site and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit tired but places to stay in Matlock bath with parking are limited. All in all, good value for money.”

“Room was filthy, dust, dirt and cobwebs. Bathroom smelt like poo. Sink leaked. Entire room smelt of damp. Bed atrocious. The pillows were flat as pancakes and very old. Fridge didn't work. Staff friendly.”
