“Great location and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room itself was ok, a bit tired and in need of a refresh, it was clean and the bed comfy. I’d say breakfast wasn’t cooked to order purely by the speed it appeared, it was standard English breakfast, though felt one rasher of bacon and one sausage was a bit of a poor show, when you generally get two of each of those items elsewhere. “I've stayed at the Hilton, Garden Inn, many many times and its always been wonderful, the room, staff etc. Unfortunately the last time was terrible. I was put in room 125, next to the gym.There was dust in the room, the kettle was encrusted with no idea what. The shower didn’t drain properly. The beds creaked, loudly, everytime I moved! The noise from the gym at 7am was annoying. When I checked out the woman on reception asked how my stay was, I explained. She didn’t even apologise, just looked...

“Room was newly renovated and very spacious. Gym and pool were excellent, best gym I’ve ever seen as a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we slept awfully, the hotel/room above us was so noisy. All we could hear all evening and through the night was the tv, banging and snoring. ”
