“The room was big enough and clean and the bed was good. However, the temperature was much to high. The mobile fan had no effect(just moving the warmth) en was noisy. I missed the fridge and I would have expected more than a bottle of soap in the bathroom since the price for the room was relatively high.”

“Have seen this hotel come up a few times and thought i would try it when i was working in the area.
Being a golf club it has lots of extras, gym, spa, pool etc.
The gym was well equipped with the latest tech, the pool area was lovely with a jacuzzi ,steam and sauna room.
Clean changing rooms with ample lockers.
The room was spacious with one of the largest beds ive seen, decent amenities, tea,coffee n biscuits.

Being a golf club it has lots of extras, gym, spa, pool etc.
The gym was well equipped with the latest tech, the pool area was lovely with a jacuzzi ,steam and sauna room.

We enjoyed using the pool and the changing room was fine. We did not have pound coins for the lockers and the hotel is cash free. Maybe advise guests on check in to bring a coin?
Food choice was limited but we enjoyed our dinner . Breakfast was fairly standard but plentiful and well organised

“We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we checked in the staff were very accommodating. Our room was perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed a couples massage at the spa which was superb. We then relaxed with room service. A wonderful stay and will definitely return.”

“We booked a Double Ensuite Room. On arrival our room was the family room. Wow what a massive room. It had 3 beds. Lovely fresh looking room, so clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure and water was hot.

“ We found the Victory Inn at Mersea to be very comfortable and the service was brilliant. Staff were especially helpful and the position was great for my 6 year old grandson as he spent lots of time in the play area and we could keep our eye on him. “There was a problem with a leak in the bathroom and the hotel gave us a full refund and has offered us a free nights stay. Can’t ask for me than that. Great staff, great service and once the problem is fixed very nice room.
