Above a Wine Shoppe ... Downtown Highlands!

Cammina ovunque !! Proprietà in città.

Non riesco a pensare ad un posto migliore per essere di Highlands, NC. L'unica cosa migliore è una posizione con la possibilità di camminare ovunque in città e di essere al di sopra di Wine Shoppe! Si accede al nostro cortile principale di fronte St. con pozzo del fuoco, tavoli e sedie. La fine di una serata perfetta è avere un bicchiere di vino seduti vicino al pozzo del fuoco.

Il nostro appartamento è stato ristrutturato nel 2017. La maggior parte del lavoro è stata fatta da mio padre (un costruttore di Highlands in pensione). Volevamo mantenere le caratteristiche di Highlands ma offrire servizi moderni. La nostra proprietà è la numero 1 del registro storico delle Highlands.

We had an issue getting into the property due to the code not being changed on the VRBO site. The host was traveling and contact was spotty. Just one of those rare snafus that happens along with torrential rains, after driving hours to get to your destination. The situation was finally remedied and we came into a lovely apartment and the sun actually came out. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip . The town was beautiful and had several very good restaurants. The accommodations were superb and the host graciously gifted us with a delightful bottle of wine. The trip started a little rough but there was a rainbow at the end. delicious townbeautifullovrestaurants

We’ve been to the wine shop many many times, in fact every time we go to the Highlands. When I saw that there was an apartment above for rent, I couldn’t believe it. The space itself was perfect and very well appointed. Check-in was incredibly simple. The host were available whenever we needed. We will definitely stay again.

Apartment had all the comforts of home - well stocked kitchen, very spacious and comfortable and clean. Great location above the Wine Shop. Enjoyed having a glass of wine and visiting with the guests at the Wine Shop. Will definitely come back!! We planned to grill steaks based on pictures on VRBO - disappointed to find no grill. Highly recommend adding a grill.

Super convenient to downtown Highlands, yet very private. It has a nice private upper level patio nicely shaded by trees, a nice kitchen and breakfast area, Master bedroom, bathroom, a large sitting room/den, and closets. TV in den and master bedroom. Everything needed was there. I'll be back!

Outstanding place for very walkable Highlands with great restaurants. Highly enjoyed outdoor area for wine and conversation. Beautiful weather in June. Also checked out nearby waterfalls.

Excellent location just a few steps from downtown. Quiet. Very clean and well appointed. Can park in the wine store parking lot. While no big deal for us, be aware no washer dryer in the apartment.

We stayed in a VRBO rental above the Wine Shoppe in downtown Highlands. The property was neat and clean. Conveniently located to everything that we wanted to do...shops, restaurants within walking distance. Had a great time...plan to return again...left the property spotless and clean....

The location of this property was perfect for a weekend in Highlands - walking distance from shops and restaurants. It was a short drive to good hiking trails. The wine shop below was great; there was a lot of nice outdoor seating there.

Great property for a couple. Right on the main street with easy walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. Be aware there are a number of steps leading up to the apartment, which was not a problem for us, but should be noted. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bed super comfortable. Streaming TV was a little quirky but worked. All-in-all, this property is a good value and we would stay again.
